Kathy Harvey is the Associate Dean for the MBA and Executive Degree programmes at Said Business School, and a Fellow of Keble College, Oxford University. She is responsible for the success of Said Business School’s graduate management programmes, and for international strategy and partnerships. During the Covid-19 pandemic she led the digital transformation of degree and postgraduate diploma programmes. She directs the Entrepreneurship Project for the Executive MBA., and teaches stakeholder management, crisis management and the leadership of teams.
Kathy began her career in journalism, working as a BBC radio reporter, TV political correspondent and commissioning editor before founding her own consulting business, working mainly in investment and financial services. After joining Oxford University, she led the development and growth of the School’s executive qualifications and open enrolment programmes and was Director of the Executive MBA for seven years.
She is a trustee of the Orwell Foundation, which honours the work of George Orwell, celebrating modern, untold stories and working to expose social evils through writing and public debate.
